If weapons are the extensions of your body, is it the mechanism or the mind that allows you manipulate them freely? I’ve always wanted to use simple yet beautiful lines to depict people’s “spirit”, “qi”, “essence”, and “movement”. Loic Hsiao used earth, wind, water, and fire as the elements of the zen of martial arts to show the tranquility of movements.

Hsiao incorporated “xin cao”, a style of Chinese calligraphy into the collection. “Xin cao” is free and wild, yet striking, which perfectly coincides with the collection.
